MPA’s Pork Profit Seminar Set for Three Locations Around the State

Columbia, Mo.,— Pork producers will have three opportunities to attend the 2021 Pork Profit Seminar, hosted by the Missouri Pork Association. The program will be held December 14 in Lamar, December 15 in Sedalia and December 16 in Mexico.

 

In Lamar, registration will begin at 10:30 am, with the program running 11:00 am until 3:45 pm. Registration at the Sedalia and Mexico locations will start at 9:30 am, and the seminar will wrap up by 2:45 pm. Each seminar will cover the same topics, presented by members of the University of Missouri Extension Commercial Agriculture’s Swine Team. Topics include:

 

Mobile Slaughter/Processing – Dr. Bryon Wiegand, University of Missouri

 

Certified Samples Training Program – Dr. Cory Bromfield, University of Missouri

 

National Pork Producers Council Updates and Insights – Tyler Bettin, National Pork Producers Council

 

Pork Checkoff Updates & Insights – Rob Christine, National Pork Board

 

Last Meal of Pre-parturition Sows – Dr. Tim Safranski, University of Missouri

 

Market Outlook and the New Cut Out Contracts – Dr. Scott Brown, University of Missouri
