Columbia, Mo.,–Francis Forst, chairman of the Missouri Pork Association (MPA), presented the Outstanding Legislator Award to Senator Dan Hegeman during the 2018 Missouri Pork Expo on February 6. Senator Hegeman was chosen for his outstanding support of the Missouri Pork Association, the Missouri pork industry and all of agriculture.
“We’re pleased to recognize Senator Dan Hegeman as the Missouri Pork Association’s Outstanding Legislator for 2018,” said Forst. “Not only does Senator Hegeman understand and support agriculture but he does a great job representing the best interests of all Missourians.”

Pork producers from across the state attended the 2018 Missouri Pork Expo held in Columbia, Missouri on February 6-7. Highlights included a trade show, educational sessions and guest speakers.
