Missouri Youth Show Pig Circuit Announces Inaugural Junior Board for 2023

Columbia, Mo.,—The Missouri Youth Show Pig Circuit (MYSPC) is excited to announce the selection of its first-ever Junior Board. This group of outstanding young swine exhibitors will be responsible for assisting at sanctioned shows throughout the 2023 season, planning member activities, and mentoring younger MYSPC members.

 

Junior Board members include:

 

Chezney Early – Leeton, Missouri

Chezney is a junior at Leeton High School. She is active in basketball and softball, is the current president of the Leeton FFA Chapter, and was recently elected treasurer of Area 7 FFA. She has also been involved in the Missouri Junior Simmental Association, American Junior Simmental Association, National Swine Association and Missouri Club Calf Association. Chezney has been a member of the MYSPC for eight years.

 

Paityn Hall – Norborne, Missouri

Paityn is a sophomore at North Central Missouri College (NCMC). She is a member of the NCMC Ag Club and was on the NCMC Livestock Judging Team last year. During high school, she was president of her FFA chapter and Student Council and was actively involved in 4-H and the cheer squad. Paityn has been a member of the MYSPC for eight years.

 

Cole Murphy – Houstonia, Missouri

Cole is currently a sophomore at Lakeland College, is active in numerous clubs, and was named All-American on the Lakeland College Livestock Judging Team. During high school in Sweet Springs, he was active in basketball, baseball, track and field, FBLA, FCA, National Honor Society and FFA. He was named Area 6 FFA President during the 2020-2021 school year. Cole was also a member of the State FFA Reserve Champion Livestock Judging Team in 2021 and represented Missouri at the 2022 National Western Roundup. He has been involved in the MYSPC for 15 years and is the only youth to be a member since its inception in 2009.

 

Kaden Roberts – Niangua, Missouri

Kaden is a junior at Lebanon High School. He is actively involved on both the Varsity Tennis and Varsity Swim Teams as well as FFA, where he is a member of the Livestock Judging Team. He is also a member of the Lebanon Technology and Career Center’s Welding Team and competes with other local teams. Kaden has been a MYSPC member for three years.

 

Emma Sims – Sweet Springs, Missouri

Emma currently works for the University of Missouri as the Saline County Youth Program Associate, and volunteers with the Sweet Spring Restoration Program. She currently serves on the Team Purebred Junior Board and chairs the National Junior Show. She has also served as treasurer of the Missouri Berkshire Association for the past two years. During high school, she was actively involved in her FFA chapter. Emma has been a MYSPC member for three years.

 

Baylee Wade – Paris, Missouri

Baylee is a senior at Paris High School. She is actively involved in the Student Council, FBLA, A+, and FFA. She is currently 2nd Vice President of her FFA Chapter, the Area 4 Parliamentarian, and serves on many boards including the Northeast District FFA Expo Show. Outside of school, she has volunteered over 150 hours in her community, and was involved in the local 4-H club for 10 years. Baylee has been a member of the MYSPC for eight years.

 

The MYSPC, launched in 2009, is designed to provide junior swine exhibitors the opportunity to further their development of citizenship, leadership, and sportsmanship and to reward Missouri youth for their participation and hard work in the statewide exhibition of swine projects.
