Kayla Harrelson Awarded Missouri Pork Industry Scholarship

Columbia, Mo.,— Kayla Harrelson, a senior at Clinton High School, has been chosen as a recipient of a $250 Missouri Pork Industry Scholarship from the Missouri Pork Association.

Kayla currently works at the local Country Mart. She also works on the family farm and cares for the pigs she shows at the local and state level.

She is very active in school, and is the president of the Clinton FFA. She also participates in the National Honor Society, FBLA and Choir. She is also secretary of the local 4-H chapter.

Upon graduating, Kayla plans to major in agriculture communications at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.

Kayla is the daughter of Jeff and Shelley Harrelson of Clinton.
