Missouri students attended the 9th annual In the Show Ring session.
Students were given Show Me Quality Assurance Certification for
attending. The session was sponsored by Heimer Hampshires, Lindner
United and OBC Genetics. |
The Expo hosted the FFA Pork Speaking Contest Finals on February 13,
sponsored by Alltech. Cole Edwards (second from left) from the Salisbury FFA

During the morning educational session,
we had a full room of producers for PQA Plus certification.

The Trade Show offered great networking
opportunities for producers and allied industry representatives.

Producers were able to attend multiple educational
sessions in the afternoon. Sessions featured (top row, left to right)
Ben Neville with American Heartland Insurance Agency, Dr. Mike Brumm
with Brumm Swine Consultancy, Jerry Foster with Cargill, (bottom row)
Brent and Connie Haden with Haden and Byrne LLC, Dr. Steve Pohl with
South Dakota State University, and Dr. David Baumert with Cargill.

friends of the industry attended the Pork Industry Banquet and live
auction on February 13. |

Auction. Over $25,000 was raised to fund MPA's legislative and
regulatory efforts.
