Think your restaurant has the best breaded pork tenderloin in Missouri?

The Missouri Pork Association is
sponsoring the "Missouri’s Best Breaded Pork Tenderloin" contest. The winning
restaurant will receive a plaque in recognition of the award, a $500 check, and
statewide publicity enhanced by a live radio remote, where possible.
All Missouri restaurants, cafés and
taverns serving breaded or battered pork tenderloin sandwiches are eligible to
participate. A selection committee composed of MPA staff and members of the MPA
Marketing and Promotion Committee will pick the top six applications from those
entered. Then, an evaluation team will visit the six finalists to sample the
dish. Results will be announced during October–Pork Month.
Prizes:
1st Place - $500 check and a plaque in
recognition of the award
2nd Place - $300 check
3rd Place - $200 check
The remaining three finalists will each receive a $100 check
The Missouri Pork Association will
try to work with an area radio station to host a live remote at the winning
restaurant for the announcement in October.
To Enter:
Restaurants must submit an application
including a description of the product, meat cut used, preparation, type of oil
used, price and a picture of the sandwich. Entries must be received by June 13,
2008 at the Missouri Pork Association, 6235 W. Cunningham Drive, Columbia, MO
65202.
