Missouri Pork Association Recognizes 25 Years of Service
Don Nikodim honored for his dedication to the pork industry.
Columbia, Mo.,– Don Nikodim, executive vice president of the Missouri Pork Association, was recognized for 25 years of service and dedication to the pork industry on February 20 at the 2008 Missouri Pork Expo’s Pork Industry Buffet in Columbia.
Nikodim joined MPA in 1983, representing the interests of Missouri’s pork producers in legislative matters as well as through the Pork Checkoff. Since then, he has served on numerous committees and task forces for the National Pork Producers Council, National Pork Board, the University of Missouri, and related agencies. He was instrumental in the fundraising and construction of the new office facilities in 1985.
“Don has worked continuously to represent our interests,” said Jim Fisher, chairman of the Missouri Pork Association. “I look forward to many more years of his leadership.”
The Missouri Pork Association represents the state’s pork producers in the areas of promotion, research, education and legislation.
